Advent 2025 - Tree

Decorating the tree is one of my favourite festive season activities and here you can do this in a stitching format! As the countdown to Christmas proceeds, you'll add 24 unique little baubles to your starry garland tree. I know it's a busy time of year, so it's just a tiny bit of daily stitching and should only take around 10 mins :)

These stitchable advent calendars are designed to be displayed as you stitch, so you can admire your tree as it becomes decorated. On 18 count you can use an 8 inch/ 10 inch hoop (it will just about fit into an 8 inch, as you can see in the last photo, so if you prefer a bit more space around your design, size up) on 16/14 count fabric this will fit into a 10 inch hoop. You could also consider a hanging magnetic frame or something similar to make a wall hanging if you would rather hang up your piece, or frame it of course!

I recommend using a single strand of DMC/equivalent . I used a single strand of white Sulky 30wt on 18 count green Zweigart (now sadly discontinued,) but you might find some/other brands are available. Of course you can stitch this design in any colourways you choose, to suit your own taste/Christmas decor!
