Advent calendar - snowman - the surprise version

This is the 'surprise' version of this chart which is great if you want a stitchable advent calendar as the template and snowflakes are provided separately. The idea is that you stitch your template in advance so you are ready to add a daily addition during December in the run up to Christmas.

Each tiny snowflake has its own little chart and key to show you where to stitch it in your snowglobe. There are 8 little charts to a page, with scissor lines for you to cut along, meaning each day in December as Christmas approaches you have a new little snowflake design to stitch.

Please note for this advent in particular, the additions are numbered and need to be added in number order. This is because the location of each snowflake is dependent on the snowflake you stitched the day before (so each day you count from a point on yesterday's snowflake to find the position of the snowflake that day, I know this might sound complicated, as is often the way with written instructions, but it is really quite simple and there is a diagram to clarify what I am talking about included with the chart!)

My sample was stitched on 18 count and fills an 8-inch hoop but this will scale up on 14 count fabric to fit into a 10-inch hoop. If you wished to stitch this on 16 count, you could pop it into a 10-inch hoop too. If you prefer a rectangular piece you could consider a hanging magnetic frame or something similar that can be hung to display as you stitch!
