Geometric florals - Red Clover
This series attempts to closely examine and record the mathematical nature of some flowers.
Clover is of course a symbol of luck so perhaps this one could be stitched as a good luck gift! This collection includes other geometric botanicals such as cornflowers, calendulas and spider chrysanthemums with more on the drawing board!
These designs were also an opportunity to use some of the brightest DMC shades, here I chose a deep orangey pink DMC 891, but of course, you can stitch these up in any colour you wish. You can be true to nature or indulge in a bit of fantasy!
These designs measure the same as the adventures in geometry 1-9 and my botanical blocks - 120 x 120 stitches
On 14 count this is approx 22 x 22 cm (8.5 x 8.5 inches), on 16 count 19 x 19 cm (7.5 x 7.5 inches) & on 18 count 17 x 17 cm (7 x 7 inches).
