Advent 2024 - Ribbon Tree

This year's advent tree has some looping ribbons that you can stitch all ready to hang your baubles from once December begins! 

This are designed to be displayed as you stitch, so you can admire your progress as you add your daily bauble. On 18 count you can use an 8 inch hoop, on 14 count fabric this will fit into a 10 inch hoop. If you wished to stitch this on 16 count, you could pop it into a 10 inch hoop too (you'll just have a bit more space around the outside). You could also consider a hanging magnetic frame or something similar to make a wall hanging if you would rather hang up your piece, or frame it of course!

Design size in stitches - 100 w x 128 h

Size on 14 count aida 18 x 24 cm (7.5 x 9.5 inches approx) 

Size on 16 count aida 16 x 21 cm (6.5 x 8 inches approx)

Size on 18 count 14 x 18 cm (5.5 x 7.5 inches approx)

My sample was stitched on 18 count white aida with a single strand of DMC 321 (red)
and DMC 700 (green)

You can choose your own colours, each little bauble uses very little floss so a good stash raiding opportunity!
