Geometric florals - Chrysanthemum

This series explores the point where flowers and geometry cross paths and then walk along together holding hands.
Here are spider chrysanthemums, showing off their perfect poise and the curvy geometry of their cascading petals. This series will grow over the coming weeks to include cornflower, hydrangea, astrantia, calendula, red clover (and other designs in progress too)
These designs were also an opportunity to use some of the brightest DMC shades, here I chose lime green, but of course, you can stitch these up in any colour you wish. You can be true to nature or indulge in a bit of fantasy!

These designs measure the same as the adventures in geometry 1-9 and my botanical blocks - 120 x 120 stitches
On 14 count this is approx 22 x 22 cm (8.5 x 8.5 inches), on 16 count 19 x 19 cm (7.5 x 7.5 inches) & on 18 count 17 x 17 cm (7 x 7 inches).
