This design can be stitched as a whole or you can use each flower in vase as a birthday greeting as it features all the birth flowers of the year. Although all of these flowers are included in the chart 'Botanical block, all 66 of them!'in this design they have all been placed in little vases and many designs have been modified to make a better little bouquet!

Some lists of birth flowers have more than one flower given for each month (and there are regional variations too) so here's a list of the ones chosen:

January - Carnation, February - Primrose, March - Daffodil, April - Sweet pea, May - Lily of the valley, June - Rose, July - Water lily, August - Gladioli, September - Aster, October - Marigold, November - Peony, December - Poinsettia.

There is no list of colours given because of course some flowers come in may different colours but the key for the flower names and months is in colour so you can use this as a guide if you wish. This chart is perfect for using up odd, leftover bits of floss.

On 14 count is 22 x 22 cm, on 16 count 19 x 19 cm & on 18 count 17 x 17 cm.
